I have worked in hospitality for many years and have had the pleasure to organise a few different events along the way. Once I had found my passion for events I wanted a job to specialise in Event Coordinating, I have now been working for Oceana Hotels in the Sales & Events Department for over a year and absolutely love it!
I started my career as a Saturday girl in a hair salon when I was 13 years old, I enjoyed learning the various techniques, transforming people’s styles and thought it would be a good trade to have behind me. I then moved to hospitality and fell in love with customer service and problem solving, I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 8 years now and have tried to learn as many roles as possible, from housekeeping to management.
I have been with Oceana for about 15 months. I chose Oceana Hotels as they have 4 amazing venues, each one very different so it was an exciting prospect to be part of a bigger operation.
My most memorable event I have done so far was a wedding I organised in October 2016. The couple were so in love and just a joy to be around, it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their special day and help make all their wedding wishes come true.

The best thing about my job is the rewarding feeling you get after the event. I love to make people happy and to see their wonderful emotions and reactions due to my work is truly fulfilling.

I enjoy all events from corporate to birthday parties but have a great passion for weddings as I adore seeing the love in the room and the wonderful reaction of all the guests especially the bride & groom. It’s just such a magical event to a part of!
In my spare time I like to go to the gym and enjoy cycling. I like trying different dining outlets and often eat out at pubs & restaurants.
