How long for Oceana and why did you choose Oceana?

I have worked for Oceana Hotels for around 9 years now.  Whilst on a break from Princess Cruises, I heard about the new Oceana Resort in Bournemouth so decided to apply for a management position and was offered an interview, needless to say I got the job and have not looked back since.

Most memorable event? Why?

New Year’s Eve – Millennium. It was a great long anticipated night with everyone full of the joys of the festive spirit.

Claim to fame?

I have met many celebrities who have stayed within the Oceana Hotels Resort. Many years ago I did meet the lovely Princess Diana whilst having an operation in Salisbury Hospital.

Best thing about your job?

The people I get to work with, from event organisers and clients to the team across our resort.

Event you specialise in?

Bespoke Weddings & Events, Masonic Lodges.

Favourite event to organise?

Weddings are my favourite!

Hobbies? Interests? How do you wind down?

I love dining out and socialising with friends, plus getting outdoors exploring the amazing part of the UK we live in with beaches and Jurassic Coastline.
